ecotools voxbox

0a6cc76d-e78f-4458-bf01-d1b01cda0ef0Hello my little sprinkles!

First off, I am a flake, I am sorry. Classes and mommy life have been hectic and we have been back and forth out of town!

So today I wanted to share my EcoTools Voxbox with you guys. If you haven’t heard of EcoTools, they have some really amazing make up brushes as well as tons of other products.fc87a847-6309-4ab0-b370-da86edc5a0c2

For starters, EcoTools is a cruelty free brand and uses recycled materials to make them. On top of that their packaging is 100% tree free. They use no trees in their packaging. So great products with a guilt free conscience. Sounds like a winner, right?

So about a year back, I bought a few EcoTools brushes and I always loved them so I was excited to be getting some more! These are some of the softest brushes I have ever had and I love how they feel on my skin. The shadow blending brush and the powder brush are my all time favourites.

I also received the “Perfect Blending Duo”. Until I received these I honestly didn’t even know they sold sponges. These are great for blending. However, I love them because of their wedges and I think they’re perfect for contour and baking. You get such precise and sharp lines.

Another product in this voxbox was cleansing cloths! This is the first time I  have seen cleansing cloths for your brushes. To be completely honest, I am not completely sold on them. They make for a good brush cleaning while traveling but I just do not think it thoroughly cleanses, if you know what I mean. Still a great product to have regardless.

Overall, I really love the products that were sent to me. Some I will definitely use more than others, but that’s how it always goes, amirite?

Honestly, if you want some good quality brushes and you’re all about the environment, these are worth checking out and you won’t regret it.

Has anyone tried EcoTools? Any favourites?

Make Up For Ever: Ultra HD

Hello my little ladybugs! mufelay

I intended to post yesterday, but I have been sick this week. To be honest, I am not feeling that great today either, but I wanted to get some content out for you guys.

Also, I am going to start posting twice a week very soon.

To those of you who have had a hard time finding THE foundation. Make Up For Ever may be a good place to start. Not only do they have liquid foundation, but they also have stick foundation.

mufeswatcgMy favourite thing about Make Up For Ever is that they have such a wide range of shades to choose from.

It kind of makes it hard to not find a match.

The liquid foundation is wonderful. It is super thin in consistency, but will also give you great coverage. Since it is a thin product, it really helps you get a smooth and even finish.

It is one of the more natural looking and more comfortable foundations I have tried. It also works well with SO many different skin types, which is a plus.

The foundation stick is equally amazing. This stick has a thicker consistency, but still blends in nicely and is comfortable. Faceeee.jpg

Darker shades also work really well as a contour stick. Also I know a lot of stick products I have found are harder to blend but this foundation stick is SUPER blendable.

Me, personally, I think these are going to be my go to fall/winter products.

What are your favourite fall/winter foundations/products? Let me know below.

The products in this post were sent to me by Influenster and Make Up For Ever (also thank you so much to them!).

Marc Jacobs Glowstick!

Hello hello hello!IMG_7898

So as I’m sitting here watching Catfish, I realize I need to blog for the week! So here I am bringing you nonsense, again, not really, but probably¬†ūüėõ

Today I wanted to share my Marc Jacobs Glowstick  that was sent to me from @Influenster and @MarcBeauty; be sure to check them both out on Twitter and Instagram to stay updated on fun and new things!

Until this, I usually stuck with¬†powder highlighters because I felt I could control it more. I do have¬†a few liquids but I don’t use them, ever, to be honest, even though they are really nice. BUT this Glowstick is honestly so amazing. Its more of a cream than a liquid, so that’s a plus.¬†This one is¬†in “Spotlight” and I have to say I love it and have been using it a lot this summer. If you like cream highlighters, this is definitely one you should be trying out. Even if you don’t and are like me and like your powders, its a great product to step out of your comfort zone with.

IMG_7904The pigment and shimmer is AMAZING. It doesn’t take much and it goes on so beautifully. I just cant get over it!

I think this product is great for the hot summer I am having. It gives me more comfort because I feel that it stays better. It is just as vivid and pigmented by the time I take it off as when I put it on. Which says a lot because I have a few highlighters that dissipate by the end of the day.

Which do you guys prefer: liquids/cream or powdered highlighter? What is your favourite highlighter right now?

Don’t forget to follow me on social media! A lot of the times I post swatches that don’t end up on the blog. Twitter and IG links below.

Bite Beauty goodies

Bonjour mes amours!IMG_6071

Sorry I have been a little awol, I have been super busy and unproductive at the same time, but I am back!

Today I wanted to talk about some amazing lipsticks that I was chosen to try out from Bite and Influenster. If you haven’t already heard of Bite products, then I definitely suggest checking them out because they are wonderful products. You can find them in-stores and online at Sephora.

IMG_6185If you have been on my Instagram or Twitter recently, then you have already seen me talking about these lipsticks and even saw a swatch for Pepper. Along with Pepper, I also received Beetroot and Gazpacho from the Amuse Bouche line.

While Pepper is my favourite (because I love my browns) the other two are just as amazing. The IMG_6186.JPGcolours are all very bright and vibrant and last. That’s a big IMG_6078deal breaker for me when it comes to lip colours. I want to be able to put it on and have it last. The first time I tried one of these, I set it with translucent powder, and went out to dinner and drinks, and it was still there at the end of the night.

Also I just want to mention that these lipsticks smell wonderful. I don’t think I have had many lipsticks smell so good. These shades are definitely something to keep an eye out for.

What are your favourite Bite products/shades?
