hi babies! d9670322-9104-4971-84d0-a3b5d109bf58

first off, I realized how absolutely lame I am when it comes to titles of my posts, but hey whatever gets you here faster, no need to dramatize it, amirite?

let’s go ahead an speak about the giveaway; it will actually be another chance to win a Smile Brilliant teeth whitening kit! So if you entered last time, this will be another chance for you. the new giveaway link and details will be in an upcoming post, so keep your eyes out here or my social medias! (also if you don’t know what SB is here is a previous post; Smile Brilliant)

38bdf04e-f338-43e2-a9f4-dd542a74518enow to jump into the Lorac!

so I decided to FINALLY swatch the Dream Girl and Free Spirit palettes. I  have literally had these two for so long and I never touched them. It has seriously been so long that I don’t think Free Spirit is even being sold anymore, at least not on Lorac’s site.

Dream Girl

(side note: if anyone is interested let me know in the comments and I will hold a little giveaway for these two palettes if there are enough people down; because I seriously don’t use them and they will have only been swatched.)

so aside from me not ever using

Free Spirit

them, they are actually really pretty palettes. plus they’re Lorac, so the quality and pigment are seriously amazeballs. I think it is because they are smaller, that my larger palettes got more attention and they got lost in the shuffle of it all.

Dream Girl is such a fun little palette and I love all the shimmer shades, especially the blue and copper ones. Definitely a fun night out palette. Free Spirit on the other hand, is a really nice natural/neutral palette for just an everyday type of thing. It has some really nice shades as well. I felt that some of the shades were harder to swatch because I am so pale, so sorry if you can’t see the full pigment D:

What are some of your favourite Lorac palettes? Mine is hands down the Unzipped palette! *insert heart eyes*

Also if you’re interested in doing a giveaway for these two let me know below, if there is more than 5 of you guys, I will definitely do it. Also should there be two winners or one winner gets both? Let me know!

Smile Brilliant Whitnening!

Hello my little gumdrops :pkfru7986

Today I wanted to tell you guys about something I have been using for the last few weeks. You may have seen me talk about it on social media here and there.

I have been using Smile Brilliant’s teeth whitening kit. (I also linked it up for you guys, so you can feel free to check it out yourself!) Now being into beauty and make up, as I am, I am also really big on keeping my teeth white.

yhfb4473Let me just go ahead and say I have tried a lot of  things: whitening strips, oil pulling, etc. Nothing has worked so fast and so easily than the whitening gel from Smile Brilliant.

So basically, you can order a full kit, which comes with molds to make a custom fitted tray for your teeth, whitening gel, and desensitizing gel.

You mix a tub of white paste and blue paste (quickly) and place it onto the mold tray and bite down so that it gets a perfect form of your teeth. They send three of each, incase you do accidently mess up one. Let me just say the molding process was super messy, there was drool everywhere! But surely you guys can do it better than I did, lol. I also managed to get lipstick all over the molding, which I sent a note apologizing for!

After that, you fill out the little card that comes with it, put it in its packaging and mail it off to get your trays made! Once the trays come in (with a cute little case for it!) you can start using your whitening gel! You just put a small line of whitening gel into your tray, slide it on and let it sit from 30 minutes to 3 hours. img_2025

Helpful tip: build your way up to a img_2026higher time, just incase you feel sensitivity. Then you put some desensitizing gel into the tray for 15-20 minutes, and ta-da.

I am not a coffee person, but I know a lot of you guys are, so this could be something you might be interested in. Or just for you guys who just like keeping a white smile, like me, lol.

My favourite thing about this way of whitening is that its super convenient and because the trays stay on. If you have ever tried whitening strips, then you know how annoying

blogging #whileiwhiten

they can be and can slide around and slip off. Or teeth whitening where you have to go to the dentist and fork out hundreds of dollars for trays and whitening.

I seriously spend my time whitening when I blog, do coursework or cleaning. I just feel like I am getting so much done that way.

I totally recommend giving it a try, especially if everything else didn’t work out for you like it didn’t for me.

Also before trying, I thought I would drop you a little article. It basically just kind of goes over a couple of things to consider (like how much gel, if you should get desensitizing gel, etc) before buying teeth whitening products: 7 things to know before buying

Also to be helpful, I am going to link you to the video I watched when I was making my molds! Kelli Tanner:How I Whiten

Also, keep an eye out for my next post because it will contain the rules to enter in a giveaway for your very own Smile Brilliant teeth whitening kit, courtesy of Smile Brilliant and I!

I am currently out of state for the holidays but the giveaway rules WILL be post by Friday at the latest, so keep your eyes open!!!

November Favourites

Hello mah babies!

So today I thought I would let you know what products were my absolute favourites from last month! I also have been thinking about making this a permanent thing, and will try to post monthly about my overall favourites for said month.dscn0073

Now, in November I did quite a bit of shopping BUT there were 3 things that seriously amazed me. I think it says a lot about these items that out of everything only 3 stuck out.

First is the Nip +Fab Viper Venom Micro Blur Fix. I have actually been on a Nip + Fab spree and am really loving some of their things. This actually reminds me of Porefessional from Benefit. But way cheaper. It blurs your pores to make them less noticeable and it makes your skin super smooth. I have been using it as a primer but also have been using it on days without make up. A definite 8/10 on a primer scale.

The Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation is my next thing. I have never fallen in love with a foundation so fast. Before this one I tried the Estee Lauder Double Wear and wasn’t a big dscn0150fan. Which feels weird to say because everyone else loves it but it just wasn’t for me. BUT this stuff has been so great. It is full coverage, but doesn’t feel thick after application. It stays beautiful all day, even without setting spray. I seriously have nothing bad to say about this foundation. I have been through ALOT of foundations and I have never found one that I really felt was perfect for me until now.

Okay let’s talk plumpers. I love plumpers BUT I hate them, you know? Even with my hate for them, I picked up Too Faced’s Lip Injection Extreme and OH MY GOD. This is probably the first plumper that has actually plumped. Most plumpers give me that tingly feeling but my lips never look different. This stuff actually did what it said it would. On top of that, it doesn’t feel all sticky and tacky like a lot of plumpers. Too Faced has definitely changed how I feel about plumpers and I am glad I actually gave it a try.

Was there anything you have recently tried that really just over went your expectations?

Also, before I bow out on this post, we hit our 1,000 marker! This means keep your eyes out for an upcoming post about how to enter the giveaway and also information on the giveaway item!

Talk to you guys soon!  xx

JustNeem + giveaway

img_0835Hi there puppets! I’ve missed you all and hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween. If you want to check out my families Halloween, head over to my Instagram (I posted tons of photos!).

I can’t believe it is already November! Christmas is around the corner, and the cold weather has already begun. While I hate the cold weather, I love breaking out my hoodies and boots.

Luckily, the neighborhood I took my little one around for Halloween, was also giving out hot chocolate! How sweet is that. Just goes to show that in the midst of a crazy world, some people care.

So today, in order to finally give my other areas on my page some content, I am going to talk to guys about some great skincare products I got to try out! img_0859

I would like to take a moment to thank JustNeem for sending me these products. I received them for the sole purpose of talking about how I really feel about them. So let’s get to it :p

First, all products are from raw and natural ingredients. I know natural ingredients are important to some of you guys, so if you need a new skincare line to check out, here you go!

Now out of the products I received, the clay mask is my absolute favourite. It cleans, exfoliates, and hydrates all at once. A lot of masks that exfoliate tend to dry me out as well, so the fact that this hydrates too, is amazing. I’ve been using it about twice a week for two weeks now, and in that little time my face looks so much clearer and smoother.

img_0861The cuticle oil pen is super convenient. I literally keep it stashed in my purse. It’s been great for my cuticles and I haven’t had any hangnail type of things going on. I don’t keep my nails done, because I am so busy with my hands that it always chips too easily or gets in the way. So at least my cuticles are taken care of! If you need some cuticle help that is easy and convenient, give it a try.

IMG_0860.PNGNow, I will admit that the Pumpkin Spice body butter is not one of my favourite things. Mainly because of the smell. I have never been a fan of the Pumpkin Spice smell. BUT I know a lot of you guys love that kind of thing, so this may be for you. The smell aside, this lotion moisturizes like nothing before. I am a big fan of Bath and Body Work’s lotions and don’t stray from them, but this lotion actually moisturizes better and it seems to stay moisturized longer.

If any of you guys are interested in any of this, or anything else you may have seen on their site I have a 25% off code for you guys! It is off your entire order and the code it TRYNEEM.

Also their social media handle for Twitter and Instagram are @justneem

My goal is to post again for you guys before the end of the week, so I will see you soon!

As always don’t forget to follow me on social media for other products and giveaways. ALSO we are SO close to our goal for the next giveaway! So share this post, like it, comment, and follow!

holy swatches, batman!

img_0339Sorry sorry sorry for being so late.

I recently just started up my courses for my bachelors degree so I have been running around like a lunatic doing this and that. If you have been on my Instagram, I have posted a couple of mini-posts there for you guys.

So as promised, I have brought you swatches from Cargo’s ‘Chill in the Six’ palette that I posted about not too long ago on Instagram.

Also, disclosure, I did receive the product for the purpose of review, but am not sponsored or receiving compensation.

Now, as many of you know I am a HUGE fan of warm colours, and reds and oranges are my favourite. BUT BUT BUT, these colours are SO amazing. This may be one of the very few cool-tone palettes that I really enjoy. You can also make so many amazing smoky eye looks. I especially love making a smoky eye with ‘Hockey’ and using ‘Blizzard’ on the eye lid. *drool*

I think this palette is super cute in it’s overall look. ‘Chill in the Six’ was made to pay its dues to where Cargo Cosmetics started, in Toronto. So all of the names of the shadows are very Canadian, and I think it is adorable! These colours are great for fall/winter.

I also thought it was fun how the colours are broken into quads. So you can use them however, or use within the colour scheme of a quad!

What are your favourite Cargo products? Or what Cargo products have you been wanting to try out?

Updates: Don’t forget to share the blog around so we can get to 1,000 followers and have the next giveaway! I am super excited. The last giveaway went so well so I am looking forward to this.

Also, I finally made a Facebook page for the blog if you would like to check that out and share/like it! I will post the at the bottom with all other social media links!

Also I do have Snapchat as well @shawnadawnx

Ciao for now! xx
